Wayne has dabbled in outdoor retail over the years but is happiest when using the kit while out and about on little runs including the Great North Run, New York Marathon, London Marathon, Lakeland 50 and the brutal Marathon Des Sables across the Sahara Desert.
A qualified running fitness, triathlon and athletics coach he is also a trainee mountain leader.
